Matcha Covered Apple Pops

Crisp apple slices dipped in matcha white chocolate and topped with crushed freeze-dried strawberries and a pinch of sea salt - a fresh, sweet-and-salty treat ready in minutes.

Matcha Covered Apple Pops

Ingredients
  • 1 apple
  • 100g white chocolate
  • 1/2–1 tsp Morning Made Matcha Powder
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • Flaky sea salt (optional)
Method
  1. Slice the apple. Slice the apple vertically into thick, apple-shaped slices, about 1–1.5cm thick. Remove any seeds or pieces of core.
  2. Add the sticks. Gently push a popsicle stick into the bottom of each apple slice.
  3. Dry the slices. Pat the apple slices dry with paper towel.
  4. Melt the chocolate. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in short bursts, stirring between each.
  5. Add matcha. Sift in the matcha powder and mix until smooth.
  6. Coat. Dip or coat each apple slice in the matcha white chocolate and place on baking paper.
  7. Top. Sprinkle with crushed freeze-dried strawberries and a little flaky sea salt.
  8. Set. Refrigerate for around 15 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
