Do hot girl walk season right
It's just a walk. I've made it my whole personality.
It's officially spring, which means hot girl walk season is back and the footpaths are about to fill up with women in matching sets, holding an iced drink and a strong podcast opinion. I am one of them. I'm not proud. I'm a little proud.
For the uninitiated, a hot girl walk is a walk. You go outside, you move your legs, and you think about what you're grateful for, what you want, and how hot you are. That's it. Somehow it has fixed about 40% of my problems.
It's a walk, not a workout
Nobody is timing you. There's no leaderboard. You're allowed to stop and pat a dog, and honestly you should. The whole point is that it's the one bit of movement in your week that doesn't feel like homework.
The drink is half the outfit (iced matcha, obviously)
I don't make the rules. A hot girl walk without an iced drink is just a walk. Mine is an iced matcha, because coffee on an empty stomach and a brisk pace is a gamble I stopped taking. Matcha gives me the energy without the shaky hands, which I've already nerded out about in my L-theanine post.
One teaspoon of Original, a splash of warm water, whisk it, pour it over ice and milk. Tumbler, lid, out the door.
The unofficial hot girl walk rules
Or at least a high dog count. Both is ideal.
The group chat will survive without you for 40 minutes.
If you plan to grab one on the way, you won't go. Trust me.
Or do. I'm not your mum.
Especially then. That's kind of the point.
Anyway, I'll see you out there. I'll be the one who's stopped to pat a dog.
Until my next questionable idea.
Your new walking buddy
